Valeco Recruitment are working with our established client locally to ourselves in Midlothian to recruit a permanent full time Marketing & Events Coordinator to join an established business.

Please note we require all applicants to have a full UK driving licence as you will be required to travel for events on occasions.

Joining our client as Marketing and Events Coordinator, what does this involve?

• Managing the content of our clients website daily and ensuring this information is accurate and updated as required

• Updating social media platforms with news, updates and accurate content

• Arranging and organising events and awards

• Assisting the manager with publications and designs

• Working with the manager on marketing campaigns and sharing ideas and knowledge

• Producing reports

• Proof reading

• Building up relationships internally and externally

• Attending events and providing a first class customer service

• Working to budgets along with many other duties and responsibilities.

What are we looking for?

• Degree or equivalent in Marketing

• Competent background in content, proof reading and event organisation

• First class written skills

• Exceptional communicator

• Competent in using Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point

• Able to work in a team and also on your own
