Are you a numbers whizz with a keen eye for detail?

We are seeking a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our clients hands on team. This role involves a variety of tasks, including checking and processing invoices, liaising with suppliers, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Checking emails and printing invoices
  • Verifying invoices against purchase orders and weighbridge data
  • Coding and processing invoices in Sage
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the business
  • Answering phone calls and dealing with supplier queries
  • Ad hoc duties as required

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience as a Purchase Ledger Assistant or in a similar finance role
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Sage (training provided on their systems)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • A team player with a positive attitude
